Social Media Video Editor Location: Remote (LATAM preferred) Compensation: USD $1,300–$1,500/month Industry: Digital Media / Creative Content Schedule: Full-Time, 35–40 hours per week (Preference for EST alignment) About the Role We’re seeking a talented and innovative Video Editor to join a fast-growing creative media team. This role is critical in producing engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and affiliate shop platforms. You’ll be working closely with a Creative Director and content team to turn raw ideas and user-generated content into polished, high-performing videos that drive audience engagement and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Edit TikTok shop user-generated content (UGC) and marketing videos at scale (60–100 short videos daily). Create high-quality short-form content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms. Leverage AI video editing tools to streamline production and enhance creativity. Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency. Collaborate with creators and the internal team on creative direction, feedback, and iteration. Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and apply best practices in video storytelling. Track performance metrics and refine editing strategies based on audience engagement. Must-Have Qualifications Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent). Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools. Proven experience creating engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to hit tight deadlines. Strong communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Nice-to-Have Previous experience in a remote, fast-paced creative environment. Knowledge of digital marketing and performance-driven content creation. A portfolio showcasing TikTok/Reels projects that highlight storytelling, pacing, and creative flair.
