At Oktana we are looking for DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to collaborate in international projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in cloud environments (especially AWS), networking, automation, and CI/CD practices. You will: - Design, validate, and implement new projects, modules, and features across all tiers: database, integrations, business logic, core services and user experience. - Learn about our customers, business processes, and outcomes while providing support - Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves system availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance - Be a great team player and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals. You have: - Understanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP - Understanding cloud security and best practices - Network devices configuration management. From Switches, firewalls and Routers to Public Cloud networking (Security Groups, ELB, VPC, VPC Flow Logs, Route53 - A strong sense of ownership of the work you do and the belief in doing things the right way for the right reasons - Familiarity with Unix, bash scripting, process management, file system, daemons - Experience with Public Cloud and supporting systems deployment, configuration management and application installations within the AWS (EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, EC2, SQS) - A growth mindset and willingness to solve challenging problems and learn - Experience in building GitOps CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or CircleCI/Github Actions/similar tool Desired Skills - Familiarity with web server configuration (e.g. Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty, Apache). - Experience with Public Cloud and supporting systems deployment, configuration management and application installations within the GCP and/or Azure. - Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go. - Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Cloud formation or Pulumi. - Experience with containers and orchestration services like Kubernetes, Docker etc. Oktana is an equal opportunity employer.
