**Description** **The opportunity** Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Sales Specialist for Power Quality Products in High Voltage Business. Sales Specialist Work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including: - The ability to multitask & delivers within timelines is essential. - Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers. - Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products and/or solutions. - Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products - Works independently with general supervision. Self-motivated and problem-solving Approach, also to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices **How you’ll make an impact** - You are responsible for Sales Target of Power Quality Products in LATAM region (excluding Brazil) - Handling the sales enquiry, technical closures, handling commercial negotiations and finalizing contracts with customers for Power Quality Products. - Craft bids that align with Hitachi Energy’s policies and Power Quality portfolio, providing efficient and cost-effective options. - Set the tender strategy and manage all aspects of the bid, including commercial, technical, financial and risk management, maintaining Hitachi Energy standards. - Keep a close eye on market trends and identify customer needs while working closely with our Product Management team to stay ahead of industry developments - Bid presentation and technical support during customer meetings - Foster positive customer relationships throughout the sales and tendering process - Collaborate and coordinate internal and external stakeholders internationally to ensure timely and accurate tender documents. Your attention to detail will be crucial in presenting compelling proposals. - Front end sales role needs travelling and meeting customers - Pre - Sales Business Development with technical spec in activities, marketing activities. - Promote Portfolio in various segment like Industries, Utilities, EPCs - Submission of on time reports and using tools like SFDC. - Safety, Quality and Integrity to be followed. - Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines **Your background** - Degree in Engineering: Electrical engineering or equivalent essential - Subject knowledge of in Sales & Marketing, Power Quality System, LV & HV Capacitors, Harmonic Filters is desirable - Sales experience - A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. - Teamwork & Collaboration - Demonstrates ‘One Hitachi’ behaviors - Ability to maximize sales opportunities. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Portuguese is a plus - #LI-Hybrid_
