Responsibilities - Design, validate, and implement new projects, modules, and features across all tiers: database, integrations, business logic, core services and user experience. - Learn about our customers, business processes, and outcomes while providing support - Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves system availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance - Be a great team player and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals. Desired requirements - Understanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP - Understanding cloud security and best practices - Network devices configuration management. From Switches, firewalls and Routers to Public Cloud networking (Security Groups, ELB, VPC, VPC Flow Logs, Route53 - A strong sense of ownership of the work you do and the belief in doing things the right way for the right reasons Desired Skills (Non-Exclusive) - Familiarity with web server configuration (e.g. Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty, Apache). - Experience with Public Cloud and supporting systems deployment, configuration management and application installations within the GCP and/or Azure. - Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go. - Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Cloud formation or Pulumi.
