Job summary The Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company's technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. Responsibilities - Understand the customer's needs, and establish Salesforce's product as the best solution that solves our customer's challenges. - Build and present customized demos of Salesforce products. - Convey deep knowledge of the customer's technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions. - Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural trainings and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position. - Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management. - Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region. Qualifications - Experience in Solution Engineer/Pre-sales Engineer/Technical Sales or similar role. - Solid presentation and communication skills. - Established and experienced pre-sales professional, ideally previous experience as a Sales Engineer for a CRM company or similar technology. - Experience working in the Financial Services industry. - Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology. - Knowledge of cloud technology. - We're seeking individuals who are fully driven by the new world of AI and Data—autonomous, innovative, curious, collaborative, strong communicators, and natural problem-solvers. - Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments. - Ability to build impactful assets, demonstrations, prototypes. - Skills and track record on project delivery in a customer environment. - Team delivery, working with large groups in pressurized environments to deliver challenging complex proposals, solution designs and solutions. - Continuous learning attitude with a demonstrated history of self-enablement and advancement in both technology and behavioral areas. - Ability to communicate efficiently up, down and across an organization, summarizing concepts, scenarios and situations to senior internal and external individuals and teams, including positioning negative recommendations or proposals. - Self-management and organizational skills, able to prioritize work based on evaluation of different requirements. - Ideal candidates are curious by nature, passionate about innovation and continuous learning.
