Role Overview We’re looking for a seasoned marketing leader to serve as a Head of Client Success at Alpenglo Digital, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing a portfolio of high-profile clients, driving strategic direction, and ensuring the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the agency. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership abilities. This is a high-impact, strategic role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings deep experience in digital strategy, client communication, and team development. You’ll work closely with our CEO, guide account managers, and help elevate client strategy across the agency. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: - Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth - Understand clients' business objectives and market dynamics, providing strategic insights and digital marketing solutions that drive success. - Proactively identify upsell opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and grow accounts through value-added services. Strategic Leadership: - Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies (with support from the CEO) that align with client goals and deliver measurable results. - Collaborate with internal teams (creative, analytics, SEO, content, media) to ensure seamless strategy implementation and optimization. - Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, advising clients on innovative approaches to digital marketing. - Create processes for the Account Management team Financial Management: - Oversee the financial health of client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management. - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to clients, contributing to revenue growth. - Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget. Team Leadership and Development: - Lead and mentor a team of account managers and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. - Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development within the team. - Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Make recommendations for new team resources based on additional clients Performance Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze and report on the performance of client campaigns, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization. - Work with account managers to prepare and present comprehensive performance reports to clients, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement. - Ensure that client KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. Business Development: - Participate in pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients to play a key role in new business acquisitions. - Leverage existing client successes to drive new business opportunities and referrals. - Transition clients from sales to account management Qualifications and Experience - Required experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in account management or agency leadership, with at least three years in a leadership role. Experience in an agency setting is strongly preferred. - Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Skills - Strategic and analytical thinking; problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels. - Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate conflicting priorities. - Strong project management skills - Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts, focusing on delivering measurable results. - Financial acumen and experience with budget management. - Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, project management software). - Leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
