About this position We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative data engineer, cloud data savvy, customer oriented and great teammate. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate on the Data Management cloud data operations, including data engineering, data virtualization, advancing analytics and data quality, taking security as a first approach for all activities. You will work in the Technology and Data Solutions Division, which is part of the TTD department. This team is responsible for crafting and handling the operation of the information technology infrastructure, platforms, and solutions that support the business of the Bank. What you’ll do · Provide technical support and guidance in all areas of Data Management, with a specific focus on data solutions. You will partner with project teams to architect, implement and support data and analytics solutions, using the latest technologies available. · Collaborate with key analytical groups within the organization to promote the correct design and use of data solutions. · Work in the entire project lifecycles, aligned to the overarching Institutional and IT Strategy, as well as the Digital Transformation strategy, that supports the Bank’s mission and collaborates with various IT operations and development teams. · Lead the technical development and support of key platforms including the Data Marketplace and the Data Warehouse, among others. · Collaborate with the rest of the Data Management team members to define and implement data and analytics strategies to improve the decision-making process, train and educate business areas, and cultivate self-service analytics throughout the entire organization. · Pilot new technical solutions, services and architectures to improve and streamline existing data processes and solutions with the objective of adding value to the business and finding efficiencies. · Address key operative issues like technical integrations, platform performance and service responsiveness to guarantee efficient Data Management architecture. · Design and implement new data integration for AI/ML workloads with existing data solutions. · Collaborate on the technical evaluation, implementation and support of new AI/ML services to enable the organization in this journey. · Work under the moderate supervision of others. · Support ongoing projects by assisting with the technical work required to complete the necessary validations and deployments. · Collaborate with the administration and support of the technical infrastructure and foundational services deployed in AWS and Azure clouds used for Data Management. What you'll need Education : Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role. In leiu of a Master's Degree a Bachelor's Degree and the below certifications may be considered. · Certifications on cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS or Azure, are a plus. Data warehouse, data engineering, or data analytics certifications are preferred. Python-based analytics certifications are also a plus. Experience : • Minimum of 3 years for Master's degree and 7 years for Bachelor's degree, of experience in data warehouse design and implementation, analytics solutions architecture, data pipelines and integration for different types of information, such as traditional structured data and unstructured data for analytics. • Experience working in AWS cloud environments architecting, implementing, and supporting data and analytics solutions. Knowledge of cloud operations and deployments is a plus. • Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as (Python, R, JS) for data analytics and data engineering. • Technical skills in data architecture and multi-platform integrations using cloud solutions and services for data availability and analytics in the main cloud providers: AWS and Azure. • Experience working with the following data technologies: Amazon Redshift for Data Warehouse, Informatica Data Management cloud and AWS Services for data integration (Glue, S3, etc.) and Denodo for data virtualization. • Proficient in building different types of data architectures for analytics, including traditional data warehouse models, real-time and near real-time data lakes, file storage, and shared repositories for enterprise-wide purposes. • Preferred experience working with enterprise data catalog solutions, data virtualization tools and data as a service strategy, including aspects like data governance. data privacy and data quality. • Proficiency in the implementation of CI/CD practices for data pipelines, including versioning control with Bitbucket, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like CloudFormation and/or Terraform and Jenkins for orchestration. • Experience working with SQL and non-SQL types of cloud databases, query and scripting, modeling, and objects optimization. • Knowledge and experience on cloud-native AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure Cognitive services, etc.) • Experience building and maintaining data infrastructure to support ML/AI workloads. • Knowledge of Graph and Vector Database cloud technologies is a plus. Languages :Fluency in English.
