Why This Role Matters As the Senior Web Developer, you’ll be at the center of driving Thompson Creek’s digital growth. Your expertise ensures fast, secure, and conversion-optimized websites that directly impact marketing performance, customer acquisition, and brand visibility. This is a hands-on, independent role collaborating with marketing and engineering teams to deliver high-performing, secure, and conversion-focused websites. What You’ll Do - Develop and optimize WordPress sites, custom themes, and plugins. - Build high-converting landing pages using Unbounce, Instapage, or similar platforms. - Implement A/B and multivariate testing to maximize conversions. - Integrate analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Heatmaps). - Manage SEO with SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs; optimize Core Web Vitals and site performance. - Oversee hosting, security, SSL, DNS, backups, and deployments. - Connect front-end features to APIs and back-end systems. - Manage hosting, security, updates, backups, and deployments. - Collaborate with marketing teams on wireframes, mock-ups, and conversion funnels. What We’re Looking For - All resumes to be submitted in English only. - 4+ years of professional WordPress development experience. - Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). - Proven experience with landing page platforms (Unbounce, Instapage, Leadpages). - Proficiency with SEO and performance tools (SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs). - DevOps knowledge: hosting, SSL, DNS, security hardening, and backups. - Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and API integrations. - Fluent English C1/B2 (Required) communication; independent, detail-oriented, and proactive. - Tech-savviness, including proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Fathom, project management platforms (e.g., Asana), video conferencing software such as Teams, and familiarity with productivity-tracking tools such as Hubstaff, which the company uses. Preferred (Nice-to-Have): - Graphic design abilities (Figma, Adobe Suite, Canva). - Chatbot and marketing automation integration (HubSpot, Intercom). - PHP and schema markup. - Experience leveraging AI to improve development speed and output.
