Overview The Creative Resource Manager is an integral part of the global Art Department, Gallagher’s in-house creative agency . Reporting into the Sr. Director of Corporate Marcom Operations, this position collaborates closely with Creative team leadership, Account Services, and Studio Resource Leads daily to facilitate highly organized and strategic resource allocation and planning. With a background in the creative industry and a deep understanding of our talent pool, skillsets, personalities, workflow, and project management, the Creative Resource Manager positively contributes to overall team efficiency and adherence to our SLAs. By allocating creative team resources and actively monitoring bandwidth to optimize resource utilization, this role is essential to cultivating an environment conducive to the development of great creative. How you'll make an impact Partners with Account Services and Creative teams to effectively allocate and manage Core Creative team resources to ensure balanced workloads and meet project requirements from intake to studio hand-off. Proactively supports creative team by acting as a conduit between Creative, Account Services, and Studio teams, assessing project implications, estimating hours, and anticipating workload needs before assigning projects and throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively monitors projects and Creative team allocations throughout the project lifecycle to adjust, move, or reassign work if/when/as needed to ensure on-time project delivery and a balanced workload across the Core Creative team. Builds strong relationships and gains in-depth insights into Core Creative team members’ skillsets, weaknesses, work preferences/styles, and growth potential. Utilizes this knowledge to optimize utilization and allocation to projects where their talents are best suited. Maintains open communication with Account Services and Creative team leads via a continuous feedback loop with these insights to enhance individual and team performance. Attends team statuses, resource huddles, and appropriate project briefings to ensure daily comprehension of active projects and their scopes, resource priorities, or conflicts. Uses those insights to form and communicate resourcing plans and flag potential risks to leadership. Quickly processes and evaluates new information to identify and communicate potential opportunities, alternative approaches, or reprioritization to maintain project timing integrity and appropriate allocations across the team. Proactively tracks progress of proofs and related task assignments to understand project priorities and stakeholder feedback, identifying and acting upon revision edits that require re-allocation. Actively monitors trends and data from Workfront and team reports to forecast and communicate staffing needs, potential efficiencies, overload or other future resourcing risks to Art leadership team. Project manages and administrates sensitive, internal Corporate and Brand initiatives/projects using the appropriate creative resources in support of quality control and brand standards. About you Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Bilingual English-Spanish 5-10 years of experience in a creative agency setting, with a proven track record in resource management and project prioritization, preferably with design experience. Creative team management experience. Working experience with online project management resourcing software, Adobe Workfront preferred. Unflappable project management, time management, change-management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs a plus.
